Quins made sure they finished of the 1st half of the season undefeated at Valhalla with a resounding victory over Old Sulians on Saturday.

Quins took just 3 minutes to get across the line. Quins immediately put the pressure on from kick off with Sulians conceding multiple penalties Quins kicked for the corner. A superb driving maul led to Max Hickes dropping down over the line for his first of the season. After a great start from Quins Sulians took a hold of the game but could only manage 3 points for their efforts until their disciple let them down again when they had a man sent to the bin for multiple offences in the red zone, 5 minutes later Dylan Pearce crossed for his 1st of the afternoon. Another driving maul from the pack finished off by the backs. Moments later Dylan was in for his second running in unopposed. Old Sulians finished the half camped out in Quins 22 but the defence stood strong with discipline once agin an issue for Sulians.

Half Time: 17 - 3

Quins started the 2nd half as they did the 1st with a try within 3 minutes. James Woodman being tackled over the line after a fantastic break from Max Hickes to ensure all 5 points for Quins! They ball then got stuck in the midfield mostly in Quins possession but the conditions proving difficult with some handling errors creeping in. It was James Woodman who got his 2nd and Quins 5th with 15 minutes to go. 10 minutes later Quins scored again with a great kick through from number 8 Christie Maclaurin which Brandon West-Ford got on the end of to slide over, much to the delight of David Priddy! As the clock ticked over to 80 minutes club captain Daniel Pearce got his 7th of the season and Quins 7th of the game finishing 2023 off in style!
