Quins produced a ruthless and composed performance on the road at Lansdown Road, sweeping aside Old Sulians with a commanding 52–5 victory and securing a crucial bonus point in the process.

From the opening whistle, Quins looked sharp, purposeful, and intent on setting the tempo. Strong carries through the middle and quick ball at the breakdown allowed the visitors to establish early territory and possession, piling pressure on the Old Sulians defence from the outset.

The breakthrough came early when Lee Pearn powered over for the opening try of the afternoon following sustained pressure close to the line. The conversion was added to give Quins the perfect start.

Quins quickly doubled their advantage as Seb Cronin-Temel crossed for the second try, finishing off a well-worked attacking move. The conversion was again successful as Quins began to pull clear.

The pressure continued to tell and it wasn’t long before Ed Wander added the third try, finishing clinically after Quins exploited space created by quick recycling and strong support play. Another successful conversion extended the lead further.
Quins were relentless in attack, and Dylan Pearce soon crossed for the fourth try of the afternoon following another sustained period of pressure. With the conversion added, the bonus point was firmly within reach.

Vice Captain Lee Pearn then added his second try of the match, crashing over from close range after a series of powerful phases. The conversion was slotted to cap another dominant attacking passage.

Quins weren’t finished there before the break, with Christie Maclaurin crossing for the sixth try of the half to round off an outstanding opening forty minutes. The conversion attempt narrowly missed, but Quins headed into the interval in complete control.

At half-time, Quins held a commanding 40–0 lead, having secured the bonus point well before the break.

Half-Time: Old Sulians 0 – 40 Quins

The second half saw the game settle into a more measured rhythm, with Quins managing the contest intelligently while still looking to add to their tally.

The first score after the restart came through Luke Joseph, who finished well after Quins again found space out wide. The conversion attempt was unsuccessful, but the visitors continued to dominate territory and possession.

Quins soon added another as Leo Barton-Bennett crossed for the eighth try of the afternoon, rounding off another well-constructed attacking move. This time the conversion was added, further stretching the lead.

Old Sulians managed a consolation try late in the game, breaking through to score, though the conversion was missed. Quins responded calmly and closed out the final stages professionally, ensuring a composed and controlled finish to the contest.

The final whistle confirmed a 5–52 victory, rounding off an excellent all-round performance marked by clinical finishing, strong defensive organisation, and complete control across the full eighty minutes.
