Quins latest trip to Bath ended in defeat, the first on the road for the lads this season!
After taking an early 3 - 0, Sulians then went and to score the first try. A solid Quins line proving hard to break but Sulians chipped over the top and were first to the ball under the posts. 10 minutes later they crossed again. A great move from the line out but once again Quins' defence stood strong but unfortunately Sulians were tackled over the line! On the stroke of half time Quins got on the score sheet. A fantastic run from James Woodman on the wing and some great offloading by the lads led to David Lloyd to smash his way over the line with David Priddy adding the extras!
Half Time: 17 - 7
Just 6 minutes into the 2nd half and Quins were right back in the match! A superb and strong run from Louis Meacham led to the ball being flicked out wide to Christie Maclaurin who launched himself over the line! 10 minutes later Sulians reestablished the points diffrence running through the quins defence, against the run of play, to score. Quins battled bravley for the remainder of the match put some poor handling led to no real breakthrough. Things were made even harder for Quins when Daniel Pearce was given a yellow card with 8 minutes left on the clock. Just before the final whistle Old Sulians secured the bonus point. Quins made to pay once again for missing tackles as Sulians broke out wide.
A valiant performance from Quins but ultimatly made to pay for their mistakes but the scoreline did not reflect the hard work and effort the lads put in!
