There’s no let-up for Quins as Valhalla prepares to host a packed programme of rugby, meetings and club events over the coming weeks, with plenty on offer both on and off the pitch.
With the season now settling into its rhythm, attention turns to a crucial run of fixtures that could shape the direction of the campaign for both senior sides, alongside opportunities for members and supporters to get involved away from matchdays.
League Rugby Double Header – Saturday 31st January
The headline event comes on Saturday 31st January, when Valhalla plays host to a league rugby double header, giving supporters the chance to watch both senior sides in action on the same afternoon.
The 2nd XV get proceedings underway with a 14:00 kick-off as they take on Ashley Down Old Boys II in a rearranged fixture. With points at a premium and league positions tightly contested, the 2s will be eager to make the most of home advantage and build momentum heading into February.
Following on at 14:30, the 1st XV welcome Nailsea & Backwell II to Valhalla. With the league table finely balanced, this fixture presents another opportunity for Quins to apply pressure on the sides above them and continue their push up the standings. Support from the sidelines will once again play a key role, and the club encourages all members, friends and families to make a day of it.
Committee Meeting – Monday 2nd February
Off the field, the club’s monthly committee meeting takes place on Monday 2nd February at 19:00. These meetings are an important part of the running of Quins, providing an opportunity to review recent activity, discuss upcoming plans and ensure the club continues to move forward in the right direction.
Members are welcome to attend, and anyone wishing to raise items for discussion is encouraged to submit questions to the committee in advance by e-mailing us at secretary@bristolharlequins.com

Another rearranged fixture, this match will be an important test against strong opposition and offers another chance for the squad to put down a marker on home soil.
Live Darts at Valhalla – Sunday 15th February
Valhalla isn’t just about rugby, and on Sunday 15th February the focus shifts indoors as the Bristol Harlequins Arrows take centre stage for a night of live darts, facing New Found Out.
With a 19:00 start, supporters can expect a competitive evening, a great atmosphere and the chance to back the Arrows in front of a home crowd.
The Traitors Comes to Quins – Saturday 21st February
