For the first time in four years, Bristol Harlequins 2nd XV are making a triumphant return to the competitive scene. This season, Quins IIs will be competing in the Bristol & District 2 league, marking an exciting new chapter for the team.
The season kicks off with an away match against Chipping Sodbury II on the 21st of September. Following this, Quins host Old Bristolians III at Valhalla, on the 28th of September, promising a thrilling start to their campaign.
October is a busy month for the team, beginning with an away game against Yate II on the 12th, followed by a home fixture against Avonmouth Old Boys II on the 19th. The month wraps up with another away match, this time against Cleve II on the 26th.
In November, Quins IIs will face Frampton Cotterell III away on the 16th before ending the month with a home game against Kingswood III on the 30th. As the year draws to a close, the team will host Chipping Sodbury II on the 21st of December, preceded by an away fixture against Whitehall II on the 7th.
The new year begins with Quins IIs travelling to play Old Bristolians III on the 4th of January. This will be followed by a home match against Yate II on the 11th and an away game against Avonmouth Old Boys II on the 18th, completing a challenging start to 2025.
February sees only one fixture, with Cleve II visiting Valhalla on the 1st. The season concludes in March, starting with a home game against Frampton Cotterell III on the 1st. The team will then travel to Kingswood II on the 8th, and the grand finale will take place at Valhalla on the 22nd of March, when Whitehall II come to town.
The return of the Quins IIs is a momentous occasion for Bristol Harlequins RFC, and the club is eagerly anticipating a competitive and exciting season ahead. Fans are encouraged to come out and support the team as they embark on this new journey in the Bristol & District 2 league.
