Bristol Harlequins RFC Colts Seek Merger Team for Exciting New Season

Bristol Harlequins RFC is excited to announce that our Colts team is actively seeking a merger with another local rugby club. This initiative aims to bring together young talent and provide a robust, competitive platform for aspiring rugby players.

The merger is intended to bolster our Colts team, ensuring that we can offer the best possible environment for player development. By combining resources, coaching expertise, and player bases, we hope to create a stronger, more dynamic team capable of competing at the highest levels.

Why Merge?

• Enhanced Player Development: Merging with another club will provide a larger pool of talent, which is crucial for fostering competitive play and skill development.
• Improved Training Facilities: Sharing resources will allow us to upgrade training facilities and provide better equipment for our players.
• Broader Coaching Expertise: Combining coaching staffs will bring diverse strategies and techniques, benefiting players with a more well-rounded rugby education. Including training, on occasions with Bristol Harlequins RFC Mens Senior Squad with training led my ex-Bristol Captain Iain Grieve.
• Increased Competitive Opportunities: A merged team will be able to participate in more tournaments and matches, offering players greater exposure and experience.

Who We’re Looking For:

Bristol Harlequins RFC is looking for a club that shares our passion for rugby and commitment to youth development. Ideally, the partner club will:

• Have a strong youth program with dedicated players and coaching staff.
• Share our values of TREDS (Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline & Sportspersonship), and community engagement.
• Be located within a reasonable distance to facilitate joint training sessions and matches.
