Update from the Chairman:

It’s been a challenging few days with the disappointment of the news last Friday of the cancellation of our competitive season and the additional news from the government of lockdown in England from 5th November. The RFU have also now confirmed that we have moved back to Phase A within the return to rugby framework. As a result the club will remain closed for the duration of the lockdown period.

It would be easy to feel a little deflated by this, however, I am delighted with the participation across all areas of the club for training. Player numbers along with new players joining has been fantastic and I thank everyone who has been involved.

The fact that so many groups are working to make sure we continue training up to the last minute just reinforces what the club means to more and more people in our community.

We will continue to monitor the news and updates from the RFU and government and share this news where needed.

We hope to see everyone soon but in the mean time, thank you for your ongoing support and take care.

Just to be there.
