This Sunday marks a historic moment for Bristol Harlequins RFC as the club's first-ever girls' team, the Bristol Harlequeens, step onto the pitch for their debut match.

After years of ambition and dedication, the club has finally achieved the milestone of establishing a girls’ side, thanks to the efforts of coaches, players, and parents. Club Chairperson Kevin Morgan expressed his pride in this achievement:

"Harlequeens! It has been a long time coming and is a great achievement for the club to have our first-ever girls' side. We have had some great talented girls in the past but have never had the numbers to start a team, but here we go with our first girls' team who have all worked hard with coaches and parents to make this happen. So if you have time on a Sunday, please come along and support our new Bristol Harlequeens. Blue, black, and white forever."

The introduction of the Harlequeens marks a new chapter in the club’s history, offering young female players a chance to develop their skills, compete, and be part of the Harlequins family. Their first match promises to be an exciting occasion, and the club is calling on all supporters to come down and show their support.
