Bristol Harlequins RFC is deeply saddened to announce the passing of Bob Hollard, a dedicated and much-loved member of our club. Bob proudly wore the Harlequins jersey as a 1st XV full back throughout the 1960s and 70s, leaving a lasting impact both on and off the field.

Bob was known not just for his skill and tenacity on the pitch, but also for his unwavering commitment to the spirit and values of Bristol Harlequins. His passion for the game, sportsmanship, and camaraderie embodied what it means to be a Harlequin. To those who had the privilege of playing alongside him, Bob was more than a teammate—he was a friend, a mentor, and an inspiration.

As we reflect on Bob’s contributions to our club’s rich history, we extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and all who had the honor of knowing him. His legacy will live on through the stories shared, the memories cherished, and the Harlequins spirit he helped shape.

Funeral arrangements will be announced in due course, and we invite all who knew Bob to join us in celebrating his life and the mark he left on Bristol Harlequins RFC.

Rest in peace, Bob. Blue, Black and White Forever
