It’s a festive rugby Saturday at Bristol Harlequins RFC as both senior sides take to the field for their final fixtures of 2025. With a home match under the Valhalla lights for the IIs and a tough away trip for the 1st XV, there’s plenty for Quins supporters to look forward to before Christmas.
🏠 Bristol Harlequins II vs Chipping Sodbury II
📍 Valhalla, Broomhill Road, BS4 5RG
🕑 Kick-off: 14:00
📅 Saturday 20th December 2025
The Quins IIs round off their year at home as they welcome Chipping Sodbury II to Valhalla in a Festive Friendly.
Originally scheduled to face Whitehall II, Quins were awarded a walkover victory earlier in the week after Whitehall withdrew from the fixture. Credit goes to both clubs for working quickly to arrange this friendly clash, ensuring the squad still gets valuable game time and supporters still get their rugby fix.
After a season full of development and resilience, the squad will be keen to finish 2025 on a high in front of the home crowd.
🔵⚫️⚪️ Matchday Squad
The side features a strong blend of experience and emerging talent, with Paul Martin captaining the team from the pack. There’s a welcome return for Dylan Pearce, while the backline includes exciting options such as Keanu Pidgeon and Seb Cronin‑Temel.
Head Coach William Mbanga, supported by Assistant Coaches Shaun Young and Louis Jordan, will be looking for a committed performance built on physicality, discipline, and teamwork as the IIs close out the year at Valhalla.
🎄 Festive atmosphere guaranteed – wrap up warm and get down to Valhalla to support the lads!
